Virtual Town Hall | What does it take to solve climate change? A talk with EU Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevičius

Join us on June 4th, at 1 pm Brussels Time (9 am New York Time / 7 pm Hong Kong Time) for a Virtual Town Hall with EU Commissioner for the Environment, Oceans, and Fisheries Virginijus Sinkevičius.

We will deep dive into the role of the EU and its place in a globalised world. We will talk about how the EU is emitting more per capita than it should, the need for more global action, and discuss the impact that COVID-19 has had on the climate!

About Commissioner Sinkevičius: he is Lithuania’s European Commissioner and was a Member of the parliament of the Republic of Lithuania and Minister of the Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania.

Format: 60 minutes on zoom and broadcasted on social media: 1) 30 minutes of questions and discussions, then 2) 30 minutes of Q&A from the audience. You will receive the link to participate as soon as you confirm your attendance by filling the form!
