Fridays For Freedom London
Join us on Friday at 5 pm in front of 10 Downing Street, on Richmond Terrace, for #FridaysForFreedom!
Every Friday we protest across the globe to push for major democracies to ally, counter dictators' crackdown on dissent, and Stand With Hong Kong, Venezuela, the Uyghurs, Belarus, Taiwan, and much more!
On Friday, October 30th, join NOW! and its members to make sure that world leaders don't have a choice but to unite! Bring all your enthusiasm and your passion and register here if you want to receive the NOW!'s social media package.
This week, in London you will hear from many speakers including:
- Finn Lau, founder of "Hong Kong Liberty" and Hong Kong activists in exile, who will share his story and explain why the international community must come together to protect Hong Kong!
- Tommy Thomas, Thai activist and host of Progressive Matters Podcast
- A representative of End SARS UK, the local branch representing the Nigerian struggle against corrupt police practice and violence
Right after the protest, weather permitting, at 6 pm we will walk toward a nearby park and grab a coffee/drink for an hour or so! If you want to join after the protest, please come at 6 pm in front of 10 Downing Street. Because of COVID-19, we will walk and gather in groups of 6.
